Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM)
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) places a legal duty on Clients, Designers and Principal Contractors to plan, manage and monitor construction work in order to effectively reduce risk. The Regulations allocate specific duties to Clients, Principal Designers, Designers, Principle Contractors, Contractors and Workers, and necessitate that each “duty holder” understands and fulfils their obligations on UK construction projects.
